21 March 2009 No Comment

Stations of the Cross (also called Way of the Cross, Via Crucis, Via Dolorosa, Way of Sorrows, The Way) refers to the depiction of the final hours and passion of Jesus and the devotion commemorating the Passion. The tradition as a chapel devotion began with St. Francis of Assisi and extended throughout the Roman Catholic Church in the medieval period.   The  Stations of the Cross  is held around St. Michael’s  school  grounds  every  Good  Friday  starting at 11 am.
